Long ago, cannabis/marijuana was considered a helpful source of beneficial medication – until its reputation was hijacked in the 1960s as a taboo recreational drug that could lead to many societal ills, from the “munchies” to “reefer madness.”
Happily, times have changed, and the numerous benefits of cannabis are now being explored by science and medicine, and put to good use in precise ways – and in particular for the many health challenges seniors encounter.
Our speaker, Rebecca Byars, COO of the newly-launched consulting businessin Walnut Creek, will offer a “Cannabinoid Therapeutics 101” session for the next Diablo Valley Village Lunch ‘N’ Learn. She’ll cover such topics as:
