We are very excited to start a new meditation class for Lamorinda Village. Our teachers are two newly retired doctors who have moved here to Lafayette to be near their son and grandkids. Dr. Prasad Palakurthy is a cardiologist and Dr. Uma Palakurthy practiced internal medicine. Along the way, Dr. Prasad became a certified yoga instructor and believes highly in the benefits of meditation. As we get older, it's important to keep your body active, "motion is lotion for your joints." On the flip side, he believes it's important to discipline the mind to learn to relax and be still. The doctors are excited to pass on their learnings to help Lamorinda Village age gracefully, peacefully and full of health. Free for members!
