MOFD ALERT
> Three Board members of the MOFD (all of whom are members of the union) have voted to put an item on their May 19 agenda to dissolve the Moraga Orinda Fire District and annex to ConFire, the Contra Costa County Fire District. This could reduce services to Orinda & Moraga, an issue that would have an impact on our ambulance services, and should be of concern to all our Orinda & Moraga members. We have scheduled a discussion of the issues for Tues, 5/11, 9:30-10:30 on our regular LV zoom meeting. Please attend the meeting to learn more. Craig Jorgens who is a current MOFD Board & Joyce Hawkins who was involved in the formation of MOFD will lead the discussion.
