Professor Mary Power studies river food webs, and for the last 40 years has focused on salmon-bearing food webs of the Eel River in Northern California. The South Fork Eel flows through the Angelo Coast Range Reserve, one of 40 natural reserves protected for university teaching, research, and outreach by the University of California Natural Reserve System (UCNRS). Mary will introduce the UCNRS, then describe some discoveries that working at the 8000-acre Angelo Reserve has made possible
