Rebecca Langhough Koscik (Ph.D. - left in picture) Senior Scientist at the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute (Department of Medicine, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health).
Dr. Koscik’s research focuses on two areas:
- Detecting early signs of cognitive change, before clinical impairment has occurred, and
- Characterizing how Alzheimer’s biomarkers change over time, including developing methods for identifying the age when amyloid plaques begin forming.
Kimberly Mueller (Ph.D., CCC-SLP - right in picture) Professor of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Wisconsin.
Her research focuses on understanding the neural mechanisms and behavioral aspects of speech and language changes across the spectrum of normal aging through advanced dementia. She also studies the design and testing of identification methods of early cognitive change.
