Lamorinda Village has been lucky to be selected for the next testing phase for Stronger Memory Program. This 12-week program has seen some success in stabilizing or improving brain function in the areas of memory and focus. The program has shown that reading out loud, writing by hand, and doing simple math problems that are timed, exercises the mind broadly and stabilizes or reduces mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Participants will work individually for 20-30 minutes a day through the week and will meet as a group on Zoom on Tuesdays at 10 am, starting November 9. This class is currently full but since it is so popular, we hope to start another session after the holidays. Let us know if you are interested and we will add you to the waitlist.
