Do you like music? Thinking about picking up an instrument? Join us for a special all ages musical lecture and demonstration featuring a wind quintet composed of four woodwind instruments (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon) plus one brass instrument (French horn).
Each musician will demonstrate their instrument's sound and musical range and the group will perform an 11 minute narrated version of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf", featuring solos by each instrument serving to represent the animals in the story.
This is a free event sponsored by the Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation.
