"Building the Future of Cancer Care" Rob Tufel, CEO of Cancer Support Community will discuss the developments of our new state of the art Cancer Center in Lafayette.
Rob Tufel, MSW, MPH, brings more than 25 years of experience working in the non-profit sector where he created, implemented and managed a variety of innovative social service, research and health programs. He began his career volunteering in the LGBTQ community as well as working in low-income communities impacted by HIV which deepened his passion and dedication to health. His experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Cancer CAREpoint and the National Brain Tumor Foundation. Rob has volunteered at numerous organizations including the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, BOSS and Kaiser Permanente Member Council. He received his Masters’ Degrees in Social Welfare and Public Health from U.C. Berkeley.
