Dear Lamorinda Village Solo Members,

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural meeting of the Lamorinda Village Living Solo Group, and we invite you to join us for this exciting occasion!

As a community, we recently conducted a survey to better understand the needs and interests of our solo members. Your responses have provided invaluable insights, and we are excited to share the results with you at our first meeting.

We sent the survey to 118 LV solo members and received 42 very positive replies with great insights on your interests and what you are looking for in joining such a group. 63% of the respondents indicated their interest in participating in one in person meeting and one zoom meeting per month. The respondents emphasized interest in education on issues that affect living solo individuals as well as socialization. The five most favorite activities were: coffee or tea meetups, day trips, speakers and presentations, museum and art exhibition trips, art discussions.

Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we announce that the first meeting will be:

Time: from 12:00 to 1:00 pm

Location: LOPC – 49 Knox Drive, Lafayette

Room: Davies Room

Bring your bag lunch and we will provide tea and coffee.

Agenda:

1. Welcome and Introductions: Get to know your fellow living solo neighbors and the facilitators of the group.

2. Survey Results: We will review the key findings from the recent survey, highlighting common themes and areas of interest.

3. Group Goals and Objectives: Discuss the vision for the living solo group and establish goals for future meetings and activities.

4. Open Discussion: Share your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas for topics you would like to explore in future meetings.

5. Next Steps: Inform of upcoming meeting and how you can get involved.
