First Friday Forum will host Dr. William Jagust, a Professor of Public Health & Neuroscience at UCB who will deliver a presentation entitled “Untangling Alzheimer’s”. Dr. Jaqust will present insights and developments of new treatments and how Alzheimer’s differs from the word dementia. His years of research is focused on understanding the changes in the brain that occur with aging and Alzheimer’s disease. He is currently working to understand how Alzheimer’s starts and spreads through the brain and to understand what may offer resilience to the disease.
