“The Transformative Power of Prison Education”.  Dr. Laura Beth Nielsen, professor of Sociology & Law and Director of the Center for Legal Studies at Northwestern University, will describe the path to a university education for maximum security prisoners and how prison education serves everyone. She is widely published regarding civil and constitutional rights, mobilization, and inequality.
