Are you a knitter? Does fall inspire you to buy yarn, cast on new projects or finish old works-in-progress? Lamorinda Village is starting a knitting group for like-minded knitters to gather. We plan to socialize, share ideas, show off our projects, and have fun knitting together. Knitting is a positive component of healthy aging. It is meditative and can lower blood pressure. Knitting together in a social setting is not only a healthy aging benefit but is fun.
Please come join this new Lamorinda Village knitting group beginning on Thursday, October 17 at 1:30 PM. The group will meet twice monthly, on the second and third Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3 PM in the Chapel Annex at LOPC (49 Knox Drive, Lafayette). Note this is a social group but not an instructional knitting class. However, all knitting levels are welcome. Join the fun and help choose a name for our new knitting group on Thursday, October 17.
