Anne R. Ornelas

Anne holds a B.A. in Psychology from California State University and an M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.  She is an experienced association executive, most recently as senior director, membership with the American Society on Aging in San Francisco. Previously she was director for membership and study groups with the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and coordinator with the American College of Psychiatrists. She is a member of the American and California Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and a member of the advisory board of Oasis for Girls, and former Chair, CalSAE Bay Area Region Council.

Andy Amstutz

Andy holds a B.A. degree in Physics from UCLA, and has done graduate level work in Biophysics and Business Administration. His professional experience includes IBM management, ALA Software founder, Businessland, Computerland, and SCC Consulting partner. His community service includes Sleepy Hollow Elementary Parents Club, Orinda Rotary Club, and Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church – Elder and planning leader.



George “Skip” Bradish, Vice President - Strategic Planning

Skip holds a B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University, MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and additional course work from the Haas School of Business, the Center for Nonprofit and Public Leadership, and the UC Berkeley Lifelong Learning Institute. His professional experience includes PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, BankAmerica Corporation, and the U.S. Navy.  He brings expertise in technology startup and high growth companies, capital markets, and credit and marketing for a variety of industry segments. His community and volunteer participation includes service on the Contra Costa County Civil Grand Jury as well as the UC Berkeley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Chair of the Parent Board at the University of San Diego, the Moraga Country Club HOA, and several youth sports organizations.




Art Haigh, Treasurer

Art holds an A.B. degree from Duke University, and MBA from Tulane University, and a California CPA. His professional experience includes PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, and Distribuco, Inc., and the U.S. Navy.  He brings expertise in audit and financial consulting as well as financial systems and reporting.  His community contributions include service on the City of Orinda’s Infrastructure Committee, Citizen’s Infrastructure Oversight Commission, Revenue Enhancement Task Force, and Fair and Infrastructure Restructuring, a citizens' committee.


Don Jenkins, Vice President - Development            
Don holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Financial Planning from American College. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter and is the retired past president of Lafayette Square Insurance Services, Inc. 
His community service includes serving as founding board member on three prior charitable organizations: the Orinda Rotary Endowment, the Lafayette Community Foundation, and the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church. He has served as President of the Local chapter of the Charted Life Underwriters Society, the Berkeley Yacht Club, the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, the Lafayette Community Foundation, and the Lafayette Square Insurance Service.



Ruth McCahan, President

Ruth holds a B.A. degree from Duke University.  Her professional experience includes the design and delivery of Organizational Development and training programs at two subsidiaries of Transamerica Corporation.  Her community contributions range from serving as chair of the Lafayette Senior Services Commission and serving on the Lafayette Senior Liaison Committee and the Lamorinda Senior Transportation Committee to leading the Lafayette Senior Needs Assessment Task Force, serving on the Lafayette Senior Housing Task Force and the Lafayette Downtown Strategic Plan Advisory Committee, and serving as President of the Lafayette Garden Club and the Lafayette Suburban Junior Women's Club.  Since 2011 she has chaired the Lamorinda Village Task Force, an effort she initiated.




Karen Mendonca

Karen holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from California State University, Chico, an M.A. from the University of San Francisco, and a Ph.D. from U.C. Berkeley.  She has served in executive-level administration and counseling or teaching roles at several California State University campuses and was selected as an American Council on Education Fellow.  Her community contributions include serving on the Moraga Park and Recreation Commission and service as Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Council Member of the Town of Moraga.  In these Town roles, she served as Chair, Vice Chair, and Member of the Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority Board, liaison to the Association of Bay Area Governments, delegate to the League of California Cities and the Contra Costa County Mayors' Conference, member of the St. Mary's College Subcommittee, liaison to the Moraga Youth Involvement Committee, and member of the Town's Audit and Finance Committee.  Karen currently serves as a member of both the Institutional Research Board at Saint Mary's College and the Moraga Park Foundation Board.



Kathryn Schofield, Secretary

Kathryn is a Partner in the law firm of Steele, George, Schofield & Ramos, LLP, specializing in elder law, financial elder abuse litigation, estate planning, and probate, trusts, and conservatorships.   She holds a B.A. from the College of William and Mary, and M.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of California, Davis.  Her community contributions include service in the Lafayette Senior Services Commission, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, presidency of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and a member of its Board of Directors as well as several of its subcommittees. 



Jane Tiemann

Jane holds an A.B. from Stanford University and an M.A. from the University of Virginia. Her professional experience includes service as Executive Director of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and the Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, as well as teaching positions at Cornell University and the Executive MBA program at St. Mary’s College. She has served as President and Board member of the Northern California Society of Association Executives and a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives.
